Rainier strawberry plant is a full sibling of Shuksan, is a late-season, cultivar with good-flavored, large fruit. Yields are intermediate. It is not suited for the processing market as it does not cap well, but makes a good addition for local fresh sales. It is tolerant to powdery mildew and red stele.
