Malahat Raspberry Plant

Malahat raspberry plant is a floricane fruiting red raspberry cultivar that ripens earlier than any other in the Pacific Northwest.  It is well suited for the fresh market.  Fruit is large, firm, conic, glossy medium red and is easy to harvest.  It has good raspberry flavor.  The plants are vigorous and produce a high yield.  Susceptible to both raspberry bushy dwarf virus and phytophthora root rot.
