Joan J raspberry plant is a primocane fruiting red raspberry cultivar. The most distinct feature of Joan J are its completely spine-free canes. It begins to ripen early, around the same time as Autumn Bliss, and yields are approximately 20% higher as well. Joan J fruit has a fleshy texture, resulting in a unique mouth feel. Flavor is good.
